Top Three Gifts To Make Him Smile This Valentine’s Day

January 8, 2014 By jbmumofone 26 Comments

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching once more so this year I am rounding up my top three recommendations for a Valentines gift that is sure to put a smile on his face.

Valentine's Gifts For Him

The first is from one of my favourite website finds of the year, The Rockpot.  Here you can buy the work of artist Christophe Gowans, who blogs at ceegworld.com.  His Record Books are truly stunning where he has created beautiful designs of how he envisages the book-cover for many famous albums would have looked had they been books instead.  Below are two of my favourites.

Blood On The Tracks, The Rockpot

Purple Rain, The Rockpot

These are all available to buy on the website as either postcards or prints along with a whole lot of other album/book-cover designs.

The second is a gift Mr B received from a friend for his birthday and it literally had him in tears he laughed so much, I give you ‘Cookin’ with Coolio.’

Cookin' With Coolio

Apparently the only thing Coolio has been doing longer than rapping is cooking so he has put together a selection of his ‘Ghetto Gourmet’ recipes in this awesome book.  With section titles such as ‘How to Become a Kitchen Pimp,’ ‘The Ten Cool-mandments’ and, my particular favourite, ‘Pasta Like a Rasta’ it cannot fail to make him smile.  The recipes actually look pretty good too.

My final choice is back to some more fantastic art, this time in the form of movie posters, by artist Claudia Varioso.  I know Mr B would love to get his hands on this one.

Claudia Varioso: The Big Lenowski

You can see her full range in her fantastic Etsy shop here.

And there you have it.  My top three picks for him this Valentine’s Day.  I hope you all have great day too.

This is NOT a sponsored post and no compensation was received for any of the items featured, I simply think they are all fabulous.  Amazon links are affiliate.
