Super Easy Baby Skirt From A Fat Quarter

April 17, 2014 By jbmumofone 19 Comments

I decided it was about time Little Miss E had some skirts, and this baby skirt was so easy to make and only required one fat quarter of material.

As with pretty much all of my sewing projects I took to my pinterest board for inspiration.  There I came across this amazing tutorial.  Here is how I got on.

Wow, you really do make it look easy, I have been tempted to get my machine out. have you seen any good tutorials on making bags or cushions? I want to make my Tanzanian batik into a cushion, and a long time ago I did some Miffy fabric templates and made a cushion, but now I fancy making bags. Will check out your boards!

Oh that’s gorgeous. I’d love to be able to use a sewing machine. What a cute model you have too.

I can teach you if you like? Although I can only do projects that just involve sewing in a straight line LOL.

Love it! So simple – I’ll have to make some. And if she wearing tights with ballet shoes on? Because they are amazing and I want a pair for Bernard! – do they come in age 18?

Oh that is brilliant. Even a fool like me might be able to do that. Although what my other half would think of another baby I dread to think 😀

I blog because I love to write, and for sanity’s sake, and have been blogging since August 2011. So why not dig on in and explore?
