Community Hits Netflix. Cool Cool Cool

I received an unexpected mail this morning from the lovely folks at Netflix.  As regular readers will know I am currently a member of the Netflix #Streamteam and they occasionally send me updates of new additions they think I would like.

The latest was simply THE BEST news.  The entire five seasons of ‘Community’ are now available on Netflix.

We are huge fans of this show at Casa B.  For those who have not seen it Community documents the experience of a lawyer whose degree turns out to be bogus and has to return to college.  He becomes a member of a small study group and each season documents the growing, and changing, friendships within the group.

When I asked Mr B which character from the show he thinks he is most like the answer was nothing if not predictable.  Of course he chose too-cool-for school Jeff Winger, the afore-mentioned not-quite-a-lawyer who is definitely deemed the coolest of the group, so much so that even the Dean of Greendale has a hopeless crush on him.

 

To be honest I would have said Troy, the sporty one who can quote from virtually every film ever made.  ‘Troy and Abed In The Morning’ has to account for some of the best TV ever made. Apologies for the ad at the beginning but keep watching, it’s worth it.

When I asked who he thought I was most like I was hoping for cool blonde Britta Perry, I got Annie…the slightly nerdy one.  She does have a pretty cool gasp though.

 The show is laden with pop culture references and so many ‘in-jokes’ that do make you feel like you are, indeed, part of a community.  And of course there is THAT school logo.  NO I am not publishing that on here, you will have to go and check it out yourself.

One can only hope with this new revival on Netflix there might, just might, be a Season Six in the making?
