Wow. This has to be one of my favourite tasks so far. How did I manage to get the age of, *Ahem*, this age WITHOUT READING ONE OF THESE?
For this particular task I chose the spectacularly titled ‘Cinderella’s Wedding Wish’ by Jessica Hart. Can you guess the plot line yet? In brief, Plain-Jane, who never gets noticed alongside her two glam sisters, goes to work. Handsome mega-billionaire boss begins to notice her. Could love blossom? Too bloody right it could. Lovely.
It is not just the language in this book that is fabulous in it’s frivolity but the NAMES! The NAMES are PERFECT!
Plain Jane is called MIRANDA FAIRCHILD, sensible, yet still an air of mystery and class don’t you think?
Glam sister OCTAVIA, darling.
Hero……wait for it…RAFE KNIGHTON……well if you are not seeing tall, dark and handsome on a sleek, white steed there is no helping you.
Oh, I want to be able to write one of these. Seriously put your PJs on, grab a cup of Horlicks and within a couple of hours you can devour one of these delicious literary morsels and feel all the better for it…..I kid you not!
Cinderella’s Wedding Wish is available at Amazon for one whole penny.

How have you not read one before. My normal reading is much more gritty but my Nan loved them so each time she visited from when I was around 18 she handed me a bag of them (before that they were much to racey for me apparently!) and they were read and returned to her for the charity shop.
I am still trying to get my Day Zero list done 🙁 I can’t decide what I want to do

A penny! Brilliant! I must confess that I joined a book club not long ago so that I could feel like I was being cleverer, and I’m sick of it! Never read so many long, dull, eminently life-enhancing-but-just-not-for-me-at-bedtime books in my life. Give me Jodi Picoult any day. Now Mills and Boon – perhaps that could be my next guilty pleasure. Just don’t tell the book group!

Y’know, I might just have to splash out one whole penny on this bad boy. If the story is as good as the characters names then it’s got to be a good book.
Only thing is, I’m worried it may make the husband think I’m ‘in the mood’ x
