C is for Coffee

April 3, 2012 By jbmumofone 18 Comments

A little word of warning,
For those who do not know.
I’m evil in the morning,
‘Til I’ve had my cup of Joe.

Don’t bother me with questions,
Or stories, or your plans.
I couldn’t give a monkeys,
‘Til that coffee’s in my hands.

I’m normally quite nice you see,
And know this is a flaw.
But bother me on waking and
Be sure to hear me roar.

You have been warned.

    That’s pretty good actually!

Cup of Joe could be construed as being a bit racist though.

    Just sayin’.

I’ve never understood the lure of coffee. It just tastes like burnt tar on my tongue. My daily wake up comes from mugs of hot tea. and has done ever since I was young.

    Nice post! 🙂

Brilliant. I have to have my cup of coffee in the morning. I had to wean myself off really slowly when I was pregnant. Love it.

Me too. Blimey, I actually really hated being pregnant sometimes. Or often.

Know EXACTLY where you are coming from. Can’t talk in the morning till I’ve had my first coffee. I get it from my mum apparently. Great post.

Welcome!

Jbmumofone is written by me, jbmumofone, and this blog is my baby. Although clearly I didn’t think this name through because I’m now a mum of two actual babies.

I blog because I love to write, and for sanity’s sake, and have been blogging since August 2011. So why not dig on in and explore?
