So, earlier in the week Mr B and I went to visit the Grandparents down in Cornwall and, like all good British holiday-makers do, we ignored the FREEZING cold weather and constant rain and went to the beach!

Not a caption, but have a practically identical photo of our holiday to Swanage in May 2006 – spent the entire week in coats and waterproofs, freezing – and R was pretty much the same age as W.
Think this is something that defines us as being British!
Oh I have many memories of freezing cold holidays in Swanage as a child, huddled behind wind-breakers and wrapped in towels trying to stay warm!
