We were recently sent a supply of Pampers New Baby Sensitive nappies to try out with Little Miss E and we were DELIGHTED. In the early days with the boy we experimented with various different brands of nappy but eventually settled on Pampers.
When Little Miss E arrived we, again, had a load of vouchers for various brands so tried a mixture to use them up.
Now if there is one thing Little Miss excels at it is filling her nappy…and then some. As poor old Granny has discovered to her peril.
The first time we brought both children back to my hometown of Stratford upon Avon my Mum very kindly cooked us a fantastic Sunday Roast. Little Miss was only a few weeks old so cooking had kind of gone out of the window in our house and we merrily scoffed away. The boy behaved and Little Miss obligingly stayed asleep the whole time.
Towards the end of the meal she began to stir and Granny, kindly, offered to give her a cuddle while we crammed gateau into our mouths in a rather unseemly fashion.
“Ooh, there is a bit of bottom action here!” laughed Granny as Little Miss let out an enormous, and most unladylike, fart. “Ooh, and another. Do you know that one felt kind of warm.”
“Mmm.” Mr B and I spluttered from our cake-filled mouths.
Her nappy had literally exploded…all over Granny’s WHITE top. I would love to say that we didn’t laugh, but I would be lying.
The really funny unfortunate thing though is that she has done it twice since…on Granny. Never on anybody else. It is a good job that family bond is strong!
The nappy brand responsible for said explosion shall remain nameless but, needless to say, it was not Pampers. It really is a brand that I trust and, happily, reduces my laundry pile a little.
The Pampers New Baby Sensitive nappies are really soft to the touch, perfect for such delicate skin, and contain up to 50% more skincare ingredients than other nappies including a touch of aloe. They fit snugly around Little Miss’ increasing chunky thighs without being tight and we use them both day and night. The really clever bit though is a wetness indicator, a thin yellow strip along the front of the nappy that turns blue when it is wet, showing you it is definitely time for a change. Clever eh?

That magic line feature is an AWESOME invention. It reminds me of the time when Duracell first introduced that little line that shows you how much power is left in a battery – the first time I saw the advert I said “That magic line feature is an AWESOME invention.”
Yeah.
I wonder if these nappies are made of the same material as those Kleenex soft balm tissues.

Good old grandma eh? I’m really impressed with the blue line too – my twins are only 5 so it’s amazing how quickly technology is being developed all the time, great review.

So useful for new Mums. I know I found it really hard when the bot was born to judge whether or not he had a wee. This would have been great! No worries with Little Miss now 🙂
