For this month’s challenge Center Parcs are asking us all to get out and about in the great outdoors. This could not have come at a better time having spent all day yesterday cooped up inside awaiting a delivery which failed to arrive. As those of you who have ever been trapped inside with a toddler all day can imagine, yesterday was a LONG day.
So, this morning, with the sun shining down we headed straight for the local park.
Here is what we saw. (WARNING: Picture heavy post ahead!).
Over at the Center Parcs’ blog Rich has left some tips for enjoying the great outdoors. Here is our favourite:
“Take some springtime selfies of you and your family enjoying yourselves on a walk in your local park.”
‘I’m a Center Parcs Family Blogger and visited Longleat village with my family. If you want to enter to win a place as a wildcard winner just go to the challenge page to find out how’

Ah such lovely photos. It is so lovely to be able to get out with the kids, even if it is just in the garden.

Very true. Being cooped up inside is so hard when they are little.

He did. Amazingly for such a sunny Saturday morning the park was empty and we had it pretty much to ourselves.

So glad it wasn’t raining as I couldn’t have stayed inside any longer!

Lovely photos, and you’ve made me want to get outside with my three year old after preschool today. So I think we’ll come home via the park.

There’s nothing that improves a mood like getting outdoors into the elements – especially when you have children. Definitely our favourite way to pass the days.
jbmumofone says
I find time goes much faster when we’re outside.
