Happy First Birthday Monday Parenting Pin It Party! #52

Happy Monday lovely pinners and welcome to this weeks’ parenting pin it party.  This is not just any pin it party either, it is our very first birthday!  So, a very happy birthday to all of us, *blows out candles, scoffs cake*, and a huge thank you to all of you that have joined in over the last year.

This last year has brought together some of the most amazing posts from crafts to recipes to laughs and even family tales that have reduced me to tears.  This variety is the thing I really love about the linky and each week I am amazed at the quality of the posts linking up.

Last week was no different and, after much deliberation, I finally settled on these two top posts to pin.  If you did not get a chance to read them, please do.  They will not disappoint.

The first is a wonderful pre-school maths game from “From ABCs to ACTs.”  Encouraging learning via play is a huge passion of mine and this encompasses that perfectly.  Do pop by and check it out and there are free printables too.  You will also find lots more fabulous examples of play-based learning on my ‘Learn to Play and Play to Learn’ pinterest board.

 

Secondly, is one of those tear-jerkers.  A really touching milestone-post from “Tales From The Farmhouse.”  Get your tissues ready.

2. Follow the Monday Parenting Pin-It Party board on pinterest, featured below.

3.  Try to visit two other entries on the list that you like the look of and may wish to pin to one of your own boards, and leave them a comment letting them know you came from here and leave your pinterest ID.

4. For those Pin-It Party members that comment on your post, try to visit on pinterest and follow at least one of their boards. This way everyone should hopefully gain some new followers themselves whilst discovering lots more cool stuff to pin and like-minded pinners to follow.
