My name is William, I am 3, and I am a scootaholic.
I love, nay NEED, to scoot.
Daily.
So when the Y-Glider Deluxe from Yvolution arrived at my house I was, quite literally, beside myself with glee.
First of all it is green. GREEN. And everyone knows all the best things are green. The park is pretty green, bogies, peas…well peas aren’t that great I suppose, and it does come in other colours too, but I love the green.
Second slice of awesomeness, it is really light. Not so light that it would blow away, or topple over easily, but light enough that Mum or Dad can carry it back from nursery for me after I have scooted my way in and only complain a little bit. And, of course, light enough to carry back at teatime because who wants to walk home? Not a scootaholic thats for sure and my last one was so heavy they never, ever, carried it back for me.
Third bit of brilliance…it’s pretty speedy, and a scootaholic likes to speed. In particular we like to speed around corners startling unsuspecting pedestrians and/or their pets. Man thats funny. Scootaholics love to laugh you see.
And finally, while I am speeding around corners, startling pedestrians, and scaring the living-wotsits out of my Mum, I actually feel really secure. Mum stays it’s because the back wheel of the Y Glider Deluxe is extra wide so I have adapted from a four wheel to a three wheel scooter with no trouble, and because the deck is padded for extra grip. I have no idea what that means, but I never slip off so thats cool. (You can check out the science part here if you’re a bit of a geek like Mum).
And it steers really well too.
I love scooters.
I really love this scooter.
That is all.
From Big Will. A self-confessed scootaholic.
P.S. You can find out more about Y-Glider by chatting to them on twitter or Facebook like my Mum does. I think she is a laptop-holic.
Disclosure: We were sent the Y Glider Deluxe Scooter free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions expressed are 100% honest.

My two love scooters as well – even though they’re in school now. William looks like a fab scootaholic. Keep on scooting, little man!

Green is the best colour I agree. That looks like an amazing scooter, just wait until he gets faster and you have to run after him all the time!

Oh this is a brilliant post – made me laugh hearing it from William’s perspective! T is 5, but his co-ordination really isn’t that great and he doesn’t have the hang of scooting or cycling yet, so this may be a great solution for us – love that wide back tyre x

That looks a super cool scooter. Mine love taking theirs out but I end up carrying them back – so being light is definitely a necessity for me.
