Our first review item this month is one that you really have to be a parent of a small child to understand. Do you have a fussy eater at home.? Do mealtimes often descend into utter meltdown of the
” I CAN’T EAT THAT CHIP IT’S GOT BEAN JUICE ON IT.” ….variety?
If so this may be the thing for you. We were kindly sent some of these Re-play divided plates from 1-Two Kids to try.
Cleverly made from recycled milk bottles they have 3 deep sections, perfect for toddlers just getting to grips with utensils, and perfect for keeping your fish-fingers away from your baked beans. Heaven forbid you make your toddler eat food that has ACTUALLY TOUCHED OTHER FOOD. They come in a range of colours along with cutlery, cups and bowls and you can find them here. My two seem pretty pleased with them.
Staying with the food theme, this month Mr B and I have also been trialling a new range of fish from Youngs. Young’s Seafood have brought out a new range of lightly coated Alaskan pollock in three new flavours: ‘Lightly Seasoned’, ‘Lemon and Herb’ and ‘Hot and Spicy’.
The coating is indeed light, but still crisp and they bake in the oven in just twenty minutes. They have now become our go-to dish on a Wednesday night when we have both finished work, put the kids to bed, finished our Insanity workout and have no strength left to cook. I have to be honest I really like them and with the summer coming I can see us continuing to eat them regularly.
Mr B likes the Lemon and Herb best. Hot and Spicy for me every time.
Our third item has been a huge hit with the boy, and with the kids next door, and is quite possibly the cutest thing ever. This is a telltail…
Did you ever see anything so brilliant? Telltails are the (simply genius) work of Hannah Gourlay beavering away on her canal boat in East London. Her range of cute kids tails include this gorgeous Dr Seuss style stripy cat’s tail, squirrels, dinosaurs, even lizards. Perfect for encouraging some imaginative play at home, or simply having a good giggle. And if you feel the urge yourself to go get your waggle on she has even designed a range for adults too. You can find them all on her spectacular site here, London Zoo, or you may just catch up with her at festivals throughout the land.
And finally this month was a little something just for me. Hooray. You may have heard me mention Onecklace before when they designed the most beautiful monogrammed necklace for Little Miss. This time I was the happy recipient of this beautiful initial sterling silver bracelet. I am just a little bit in love with it and have worn it almost daily since it arrived.
The delicate chain looks so pretty and it really has such a simple charm about it I think it would make a truly lovely gift for any daughter, mother, wife, sister, friend, neighbour……you get my drift. You can find this bracelet available to purchase, with your own initial obviously, over at the Onecklace Etsy Store for just £21.39, along with all of their other beautiful jewellery.
Disclosure: We were sent all of the featured items above free of charge for the purpose of this review. All opinions are my own and completely honest.

What great review products. We have just moved away from plates where it is all divided – but they were an absolute blessing. I love those tails what a fab idea. And what a gorgeous bracelet.

Those plates look amazing. T is now 5 so getting *slightly* better about the whole food touching thing, but goodness. They would have made his earlier years SO much easier. And even better that they’re made from recycled bottles. You could have good fun pretending that you were eating on an aeroplane with them! x

I love the tail – that’s so much fun! And the plate looks great for toddlers who hate to have their food mixed.
SO pleased you got a treat too! Sometimes it seems like the kids get everything! That’s a lovely bracelet.

Those divided plates are genius. It’s not something I’ve tried at all with my two, but to be honest if it helped Master C to eat anything then I’d buy a pile of them!

Lots of great stuff here but I’m particularly in love with the tail. How cute is that! I see you’ve caved and cut W’s hair. Did you cry? I was a wreak. x
