This month Center Parcs set us the challenge of sending us all out on their favourite mode of transport, the bicycle. Sadly the only owner of a bicycle currently Chez Bath is the boy. We did not let this deter us though and today, making the most of the lovely sunshine, we set out on his bike and headed to the local park.
Here we made use of my new, rather swanky, picnic hamper. The boy and Daddy enjoyed some football, as well as more cycling, and we soaked up some sun.
Little Miss had fun exploring lots of new food too, mostly stolen form everyone else’s plates.
Below is our favourite tip from Sam, Cycle Centre Manager at Eleveden Forest:
“Pack a picnic to take with you and find a nice spot to stop along the way for a full day in the outdoors. Make sure to choose foods that won’t get bruised or damaged in transit!”
I’m a Center Parcs Family Blogger and have visited Longleat village with my family. If you want to enter to win a place as a wildcard winner just go to the challenge page to find out how.

Ah, I hope not. I am loving this weather. It has allowed me to actually stay on top of the laundry…which is UNHEARD of in this house normally LOL.

He looks rather happy with his bike. Amy is obsessed with hers at the moment, but it took her ages to figure out that she needs to pedal forward and not backwards.

The boy was exactly the same in the beginning. Funny isn’t it?

I’m loving your picnic hamper! Looks as though you had a great time. My son has a bike but we are so lax about getting him to ride on it, we really need to teach him properly.

We are lucky we can let him loose in the park as there is so much space for him to enjoy.

Love the picnic hamper as well, it looks like you had a lovey family day out. My son just wants to scoot everywhere at the moment, but has asked for heelys for his birthday so we will see how that pans out!

We really did. Hope to have lots more like it this summer fingers crossed. The boy is a bit of a scooter fanatic too but the park is great for his bike. So much space and grass so he can really pick up some speed.

Ah – gorgeous pics! We’re big fans of cycling in this family. And smiles! 😉 x

I know, they change so fast. He loves his bike and it is obviously one of the huge attractions of Center Parcs for us now 🙂

It is so awesome Tanya. I really love it there and so do the grandparents now. I can totally see you and Mr B living it up in one of their awesome Treehouses!

I love that picnic basket

Thank you. I love it too. Most seem to have plastic plates these days so it was nice to find one with real china!
