I love photos.  I take literally hundreds each week with  my phone.  And, sadly, that is where they tend to stay…on my phone.

In most ways I have fully embraced the digital age but when it comes to photos, a little part of me yearns for the cameras I had as a child.  The excitement of picking up your holiday shots from the chemist with little or no idea of what you had actually taken.  The obligatory thumb over the lens shot.  The moments you had completely forgotten about.  The smell of the prints.

Although I take a million photos each year I actually print out very little these days yet I have captured some truly wonderful moments that I hope I will never forget.  Like this one…

This was the day we brought Little Miss home from the hospital and before The Boy’s first major haircut!  

When offered the chance to review a canvas from Wall Create I knew this was the memory I wanted to preserve the most.  And preserve it they did.  The website was incredibly easy to use and I entrusted the final positioning etc to their experts.  A few days later it arrived and here it is.

  129. I have a picture with my nana, mam, me and my daughter when she was 6 months old, four generations all together. My nan is no longer with us but it is a lovely picture. Or one with my daughters and foster daughters and granddaughter. Either would be fab. Brilliant prize X
