2019 is in full swing which means that the wedding season is fast approaching! And while you might have your outfit already planned and your accessories all lined up, the hotel room booked and a relative to have the kids for the day (hooray!) you might have forgotten one crucial element of being a wedding guest.

Yes, they might be jetting off on honeymoon straight after the reception, or maybe they’re putting their big holiday on hold for a little while – but that doesn’t mean you can’t treat them in the meantime! Whatever kind of getaway they’re into, you’re sure to find plenty of deals online, with most providers allowing the recipient to choose from various locations in the UK and the dates they want for the break.

A spa treat

Sending the newlyweds off to the spa for some much needed pampering is a lovely thought. Especially after all the stress of planning and executing the perfect wedding day. Spa breaks can be expensive so if your budget is a little modest, don’t worry – you can still treat them to a spa treatment, or even just a few hours to use the spa facilities. They’ll probably be treatments designed for couples too!

They may already have one – or you could potentially gift them the best thing that ever happened to their morning routine. There’s nothing better than the smell of fresh coffee in the morning, and you can even buy them some fancy coffee beans to go with it to get them started.

They’ll undoubtedly have hundreds of photographs to look through and approve from their photographer after the big day. But how about gifting them another photo shoot where they can be a little more relaxed? A photoshoot in their favourite park or outdoor area, in a studio, or at the place where the proposal happened.
