It has been far too long since we joined in with Kate for a Listography and this month we simply could not resist. As a fellow Netflix #streamteam member Kate is asking for our top five films on Netflix and here are mine. In at number one has to be Into The Wild. This is a proper weepy film for me. I literally cried for weeks after watching it and the soundtrack is just beautiful. It scores a decent four and a half stars on Netflix. For me it is five stars all the way. If you haven't seen it yet I would certainly recommend but have your tissues at the ready. You have been ...
Listography: My five April resolutions
Ok, so this month Kate is challenging us to set five resolutions....ok, easy....and stick to them.....hmmm. So, here we go. 1. Complete the blogging from A-Z challenge. 2. Prevent further bottom expansion and lose half a stone. 3. Run 10K, like the lovely Kate herself. 4. Re-design this here blog. Things may go horribly wrong for a few days. Apologies in advance. 5. Design some business cards....EEEEEKKKKK....that sounds so daft to me...for Cybher. So how about you? What would you like to do this month? Let me know below. Merry April folks x ...
Listography: What a Mug!
It has been a while since I have joined in with a Listography but when I read Kate's today I could not resist. It appears we share the same obsession preference for choosing just the right drinking vessel at just the right time of day. Here are my top 5 mugs... For my first cup of tea in the morning... For 11 o'clock coffee... For any-time espresso... For afternoon/post-work tea... For post-dinner coffee... To see what everyone else is supping from head on over to the lovely Kate's via the magic button. How about you? Are you a creature of habit or will any old mug ...
Listography: Five of the best…
The lovely Kate has kind of left this week's Listography down to us. She is simply asking for five of our best, well, anythings really. So this week I have decided to spread some blog love. This week, I bring you my five best blog reads. These are the ones that made me laugh so hard I may have choked, splurted coffee all over the lap-top or even had a little wee. These are my literal laugh-out-loud funnies. So, I suggest you finish whatever you are drinking, pop to the loo and then, ENJOY! In the Fright Garden, written by the awesome Mother-Venting. Making Shortbread in the Real ...
Listography: My five favourite photos of 2011
I am joining in, once again, with the lovely Kate for another Listography. This week she is asking for our top five photos of last year. You may well have seen these before, but here they are... Bit of a recurring theme here but am just a little bit, well a lot, completely, in love with this boy. To check out the rest, and perhaps get a bit more variety, head on over to Kate's via the magic button below. ...
Listography: Cartoon characters from your youth.
I am joining in again with Kate this week for another Listography. We are going back to our youth again this week recalling our top five cartoon characters. 1. Number one for me would have to be Danger Mouse. He's the greatest secret agent in the world don't you know! Along with his lovingly daft hampster sidekick Penfold, he is given his missions from his commander in chief, Colonel K, a walrus, and will invariably save the world. Image via www.dangermouse.org He's the best. He's the greatest. He's the greatest secret agent in the world! He's the ace, he's amazing. He's the ...
Listography: Top 5 Famous Folk I Used to Fancy
This week Kate is taking us on a romantic walk down memory lane, recalling our first celebrity crushes. Oh, the shame. Well here goes nothing, feel free to snigger at will... In at number one would have to be Corey Haim. I was, and still am, a HUGE Lost Boys fan. Though am also fickle as a flea and my crush soon moved on to older brother Jason Patric. But Corey was first. I actually wanted to marry him. Image via thekidinthehall.blogspot.com In at number two, the beautiful River Phoenix. I LOVED him, a lot. His death in 1993 was just too sad. He was only 23. Listography: Top 5 Toys
The marvelous Kate is having a pre-christmas clear out before embarking on the much dreaded anticipated Christmas shopping trip. Before venturing out however, she has had the terribly clever idea of asking us all to list our own top five toys. She will then compile the results before issuing us all with our Santa-busting top ten MUST BUY lists. This woman is a genius. So, here are the top five buys we, or other kind souls, have made for W. 1. Racing into the number one spot, without a doubt, has to be THE STACKING CUPS. Was a more useful distraction toy ever invented? In fact I love ...
