W and I found ourselves in a particularly slow-moving queue at the supermarket this week. Why is it we always seem to end up stuck behind the slowest grocery packer in the world, who will take THIRTY YEARS to find her purse from within her full-to-the-brim-with-junk-handbag and then, purse located, will discover that she has forgotten to get bananas…
“You don’t mind if I just nip and grab a bunch now do you?”
Grrrrrr.
Any-hoo…it was one of THOSE queues so W and I amused ourselves by pulling faces and laughing at each other. We do this a lot.
“He has a really dirty laugh doesn’t he?”
I turn, a little indignantly, to the woman behind. She smiles.
“A bit like that one in the Carry-On films. The hairy one.”
WHAT! He is ONE YEAR OLD. How can he possibly have a dirty laugh? And who the feck is the hairy one? I smile and turn back to W.
Who then lets out a REALLY loud, dirty chuckle. Dirty is really the only word to describe it. Or has she just made me think that?
I have posted this before but I can’t resist playing it again. It was a good while ago so has probably changed a bit, but what do you think?

“This week baby I promise, dirty or not, I am gonna have you laughing your little head off as much as I can.”
