I have been tagged in this extremely delightful award by one of my most favourite bloggers Bibsey Mama. I heart her verily, though will from now on aim to stay up-wind of her since her flatulently-honest-truths-of-late, which I love her all the more for. Apparently she has come to regard the nonsense I clog up her comment boxes with as charming and has thus bestowed on me this award.

That’s not enough?
No?
Ok, if you insist… the RULES, PEOPLE THE RULES state I MUST answer the following. Strap yourselves in and do remember some of my answers might just be a lie…or might not….humour me…
Where do you most of your writing/blogging?
I don’t write. I do blog, when I can. I have hit a MAHOOSIVE blogging wall of late. I am not sure why, I simply cannot think of anything amusing/intelligent/worthy to write about. I have bloggers block. Big time. When I do get around to it I mostly blog from the sofa.
What books were your childhood favourites?
My earliest favourite was without doubt The Magic Faraway Tree. It probably still is though had stiff competition from both To Kill A Mockingbird and Lord of the Flies in my teens.
Who is your favourite fictional character?
The Count of Monte Cristo. My ABSOLUTE hero.
What is you favourite time of day and why?
Wine-o’clock, normally around 7pm. After a day spent appeasing, playing, crafting, colouring, baking, sticking, drawing and generally RUINING my already wrecked house with the boy, I am delighted when Daddy gets home and I can hand over the toddler-baton and have some adult conversation. Or some silence. I LOVE how quiet a nice glass of Sancerre can be. Manners.
What came an extremely close second though was story-time. We read W a story every single night before bed and have done since he was four months old. I try to store away these moments when he is cuddled into me, delighting in the exploits of Max and the Wild Things or Chicken Licken and Goosey Lucy. They hold a certain magical quality that I can feel my heart inhaling in a rather asthmatic fashion.
Have you ever googled yourself and been surprised at what you’ve found?
Not really. I just found a few academic bits, my PhD and some research papers I was involved with. *Yawns* For a moment there I glimpsed a career…for a moment. Just googled my married name. Found nothing. Ouch.
Who would play me in a movie of my life?
CELIA IMRIE. For no other reason than Mr B hates her yet she seems to keep appearing in his life and he is NEVER truly rid of her. You are stuck with me Mr B!
What is your dream car?
I don’t drive. I have a licence but I am truly so rubbish at it I figure it is just safer for everyone if I walk. So my dream car would be a cruise-liner. With my own balcony and a dance-floor.
Who/What/Where was your first proper kiss?
I am pretty sure I have confessed this one already but for those of you who missed it it was with Matt, in my friends garden, in the freezing cold, when I was fourteen. He was my best friend then and retains that title still.
Now I am obliged to pass on this award to three of MY most appreciated readers.
My first is my wonderful cousin Kath, who does not blog but has been a wonderful source of support throughout my life, regularly comments, and whom I love dearly.
My second is the wonderful Cat from Yellow Days. You all know how much I love her. Go say hi.
Thirdly, has to be Annie. Her comments never fail to delight/amuse/terrify me but is someone I have come to regard as a true friend.
Over and out.
