I am beginning to think that the fact that I am pregnant again may have hit the radar of some PR bods.
I recently reviewed some rather lovely home chocolate making kits, I will shortly be reviewing some very delicious cookies, and giving away two LARGE variety boxes of these so stay tuned to be in with a chance of winning, and I was delighted when asked to review the following Valentines cake for Baker Days.
Baker Days are an online company making personalised cakes for any occasion, and with Valentines Day getting ever closer, what could be nicer than a sweet and scrummy cake delivered straight to your loved ones door. They don’t even have to be in to collect it as Baker Days have come up with the fabulous idea of ‘letter-box’ cakes. Small delicious cakes presented in a beautiful tin, and small enough to fit easily through your letter-box.
Here is how mine looked on arrival…
I thought the inclusion of a packet of lovehearts was just inspired.
The lovely tin then opened up to reveal a design I had chosen, and personalised with my own message, on their very easy to use website. I think it is just too cute…
Even better, it is delicious! I chose a plain sponge but there are various other options available. Mine was delightfully moist and the icing was not too thick or overly sweet, it really was delicious.
You can personalise as you wish and even add your own photos to many of the designs.
So, if you fancy treating your loved one to a special surprise this Valentines Day why not head on over to Baker Days and check out their fantastic range. It is sure to make their day!
Disclosure: No payment was received for this post however the featured cake was sent to me free of charge for the purpose of this review.
