This toddler craft of paper bag puppets is something any toddler will enjoy and is so simple to do. This week was the first time I had been on my own with both the toddler and the baby and this was a great activity that allowed me to have a bit of indoor fun with W while the baby slept.
I actually bought the supplies as a boxed set from my local Aldi but they could easily be assembled from odd bits and pieces left over from other craft projects.
To make these paper bag puppets you will need:
- Paper Bags
- Craft Glue
- Glue spreaders
- A selection of materials to decorate which may include pom poms, ribbons. stickers, gems, feathers, foam shapes, felt shapes, glitter and of course….
- GOOGLEY EYES!
We decided to make paper bag puppet monsters which really gave us free rein to do what we liked with our decorations.
I think W’s turned out much better than mine.
We had such a lot of fun making these paper bag puppets and it is a great way to use up any odd bits of craft supplies left over from other projects and also provided me with some quality time with my boy.
