Day Zero Project: 92. Listen to 10 songs suggested by my Dad. TICK
It came as no surprise to me that, out of the 3 people I asked to suggest 10 songs for me listen to, Dad got there first. If there is one thing my Dad loves as much as his family, it would have to be his music. He adores it. He arrived this weekend with his CD for me, all prepared and literally bursting to put it on, apparently having already made my Mum listen to it repeatedly on the journey over, and having a bit of a grumble that I had limited it to just the 10! So put it on we did.....and I LOVED it. Thanks Dad. Here is how it went...click on images to listen in at YouTube... 1. ...

Day Zero Project: 57. Read a Mills and Boon Novel. TICK
Wow. This has to be one of my favourite tasks so far. How did I manage to get the age of, *Ahem*, this age WITHOUT READING ONE OF THESE? For this particular task I chose the spectacularly titled 'Cinderella's Wedding Wish' by Jessica Hart. Can you guess the plot line yet? In brief, Plain-Jane, who never gets noticed alongside her two glam sisters, goes to work. Handsome mega-billionaire boss begins to notice her. Could love blossom? Too bloody right it could. Lovely. It is not just the language in this book that is fabulous in it's frivolity but the NAMES! The NAMES are ...

Day Zero Project: 1. Learn how to play Bezique, TICK
What, you may well ask, is Bezique? As I did when this was suggested by Mr B. Wikipedia says....Bezique is a 19th-century French melding and trick-taking card game for two players derived fromMarriage via Briscan by the addition of more scoring features, notably the peculiar liaison of Q♠ and J♦, under the names Bésigue, Binokel, Pinochle, etc., according to the country.....so thats clear now then? What on earth? All I really know is that is a card game that my husband used to play with his Grandma as a child. ...
Day Zero Project
Fellow Mummy blogger Love in the Nest has recently started a 'Day Zero Project'. This involves listing 101 things that you wish to accomplish in the next 1001 days. Number 13 on her list was to inspire someone else to start their own. She can now tick this one off!I started writing my list 3 days ago and have finally finished. Although I began feeling a bit nervous at the enormity of the challenge, nerves have finally given way to excitement and now can't wait to start ticking them off.I will be blogging my progress along the way and will be linking up to my Day Zero ...
