We were lucky enough this month to have a short break in Tuscany visiting Mr B's brother, Uncle Ben. On his last trip to the UK we made the discovery that our existing pram was unfortunately too big for the boot of his Fiesta. He had very kindly offered to pick us up from Pisa airport which had left us with a bit of a dilemma. Leave the pram behind and carry Little Miss everywhere, my arms ached just at the thought, or pay for a larger hire car. Luckily, in the nick of time, we were chosen to be a Cosatto Brand Buddy, yay, and were sent the Cosatto Supa pushchair to review. Being a ...

Did I Mention The Move? #MovingToDevon
Did I mention the move? Um, yep, I think I may have done a million times once or twice on facebook and twitter but just in case any of you missed it we are #MovingtoDevon. I am just a little bit excited. Hence the hashtag. We have decided the time is right to take Casa B out of the rat-race and head for the beach. Currently we are playing the waiting game and our actual moving date is in the hands of the solicitors. We have accepted an offer on our house here in Bristol and had our offer accepted on the new house in Devon. And now we wait. Impatiently. To be honest I should ...
Dear Diary: Center Parcs August Challenge
This month Center Parcs are asking us to sit down with the little ones and record some of our special memories of this Summer. Steph, a Center Parcs Community Manager has some great ideas on how to get creative with this and below is my favourite tip of hers: "Write down your memories and pop them in an empty jar. Hang onto the jar until next summer, and you can open it and reminisce, or even get some inspiration!" So this is what we decided to do and, as it turned out, we already had the perfect jar! You can find out how to make your own here. The boy and I sat down and had a ...
Awesome Ice Lollies: Center Parcs July Challenge
This month we were totally thrilled with the latest Center Parcs challenge, making our own ice lollies. Little Miss is now at the age where we need to be reducing her milk feeds and supplementing with snacks, whilst keeping up a good calcium intake. This seemed like a perfect opportunity to get a little bit creative. These creamy strawberry ice lollies are so simple to make and use just three ingredients. We got our inspiration from Center Parcs own Deb Rogerson whose tip was... "Want to experiment with different flavours? Mix Greek yoghurt with a squeeze of honey, then just add your own ...
Monday Parenting Pin It Party #62
*Rubs eyes* Morning folks. We are a little bit sleepy here at Casa B. I had the awesome stupid idea that we should move to the coast and the plan is in action. It is a HUGE plan. We'll get there. But right now Mr B can't quite understand why we stayed awake past midnight checking out houses we would NEVER buy on Rightmove. To be honest nor did I and then remembered I have a plan. *Strokes white fluffy cat*, *Panics*, *Scours Rightmove some more.* Today the party is being hosted by Cass from A Frugal Family. Please do pop by and show her some love. She will be displaying her two ...
To My Daughter On Her First Birthday…
Dear Emily, My beautiful girl. I have written you a letter, as I did with your brother the day that he turned one. This is a purely selfish post, and one that you will no doubt berate me for when you are older but I am just so bloody proud of you. You are joyous. You are strong. You are happy. You are loving. You scare me when you shout at me sometimes. I love you so much more than you could ever imagine. From my bones. And I will always love you. From my bones. My monkey. My terrorist. My trickster. My ...
