A tag! A tag! I love being tagged!
This one is thanks to the delightful Cat from Yellow Days, why thank you.
So this one has three parts. Thats ok, I can manage three.
- Share you with my seven best blog reads of the last week. NO PROBLEMO!
- Share with you seven more things about myself. SEVEN? MORE? You must know everything there is to know by now. Will give it a go.
- Tag someone else. Phew. Was sure that was going to involve another seven. *Mops weary brow*.
Part One: My seven best blog reads of the last week
1. And then, if just for a moment, Michael Jackson made me a better father.
This one was written by the genius Mike of Mike is happy. Relatively. Go check out his blog. It is awesome.
I can’t actually imagine a week where a post by Michael Cargill wouldn’t feature in my top reads. I love his blog.
3. A letter to my son on the eve of his 3rd birthday
A heart-breaking but beautiful post from SAHDandproud. His writing is so honest and this one reduced me to tears.
A really intriguing post from Hello It’s Gemma that really leaves you wanting more.
5. Daft Trendy
Quite possibly my favourite photo ever from the very talented HPMcQ
A blog that is rapidly becoming one of my favourites by the wonderful Slightly Suburban Dad. We share the same taste in jokes. What more can I say.
A really touching post from Kate on Thin Ice written for Him Indoors.
Part Two: Seven things I can think of you need to know about me.
- I dreamt of Nigel Havers last night. It was hot. *Blushes*
- I HATE flossing my teeth and am consequently dreading my visit to the dental hygienist next week.
- My fingernails are currently a very fetching shade of dark-sparkly-green.
- I didn’t go for a run last week and now feel quite fat.
- I MAY go for a run tomorrow…but am not promising.
- Mr B is currently cooking me tea. Beef Bourgignon. Yumbles. He is the best.
- I used to have a minor crush on Jay from Five. Or was it just J. I was never really sure.
Wow. Seriously? Too kind. Thank you. I’m a big fan of you, too, Mum.
*Blushes*….thanks for the giggles. I also loved your poem/rocket this week. Was a tough choice 😉
Thank you very much Jen – I am glad that I bring amusement to at least one person’s life each week!
I want a picture of these fingernails of yours. Green looks fabulous on the right person.
I shall visit those other blogs and get cracking with my own duties soon…
Thank you for making me laugh so much, so much of the time! Mwah x
loved reading these posts, and finding new blogs I have not seen before, thanks for this, and well written
Thanks Elaine, glad you liked them. They are awesome writers.
gosh, thank you very for the mention – that has given me a happy face. I am in some interesting company – new discoveries – thank you kindly.
Does any really floss? wow?
I do like the sound of your finger nails.
Gemma, you always seem to make my top reads. Glad you don’t floss either. Not really sure why.
I’m anti-flossing. Brushing is fine, mouth wash if you must but jiggling about in there with a tiny bit of string is just a little bit OCD in my opinion.
Well, you know all too well about my OCD. You lived with me. Enough said.
TePe sticks were my salvation- trying to floss when pregnant made me retch. And I also find Nigel Havers strangely attractive. Nothing wrong with a bit of posh I reckon.
Those sticks are awful! I also tried a hummingbird. EUGHH. I hate flossing. As I said.
I’ve never been for a run – I can’t even run for the bus and the stop is at the end of my (short) drive. I feel fat – but that might be more to do with all the shortbread and hob nobs I’ve just consumed. (Don’t tell anyone – I’m a Weight Watchers leader….) Thanks for sharing. I’ll have a good read through those blogs later.
Do! I promise you will enjoy. Have missed you honey. You ok?
Love this, what an awesome post… Hoping someone tags me I wanna do it too lol. x
