Children’s Artwork: Ireland

March 9, 2014 By jbmumofone 4 Comments

Fellow blogger Sarah from Boo, Roo and Tigger too recently started a really lovely new linky that I could not resist joining in with.  Each week, on a Thursday, she shares some artwork from one of her children.

The boy is at that lovely age where all of his art is completely random.  There are no real lines, no structure and I know this is something I will want to look back on as he gets older.

The trouble is there is just so much of it it is hard to know where to keep it all.  So, I hope that by joining in with this then at least some of it will be preserved forever on line.

This week we were painting with cotton wool balls again and, as St Patrick’s Day is coming up, we kept our colours fairly Irish.  Here is one of the many masterpieces he created.

What a fab draft idea for St Patrick’s Day, I’ve never thought about using cotton wool balls to paint with, mind you I don’t like the feel of them scrunching under my fingers.

The boy really likes painting with them…and cotton buds too which are a bit less messy.

Welcome!

Jbmumofone is written by me, jbmumofone, and this blog is my baby. Although clearly I didn’t think this name through because I’m now a mum of two actual babies.

I blog because I love to write, and for sanity’s sake, and have been blogging since August 2011. So why not dig on in and explore?
