First Birthdays with Fisher Price (Review)

August 7, 2014 By jbmumofone 4 Comments

Your child’s first birthday is a huge milestone for any parent and can be quite an emotional time.  The lovely folks at Fisher Price helped us to celebrate this with Little Miss this month by sending us some products from their new 1st birthday range.

Fisher Price First BirthdaysWithin the Fisher Price website they have created a 1st Birthday microsite where you can find everything you need to plan the perfect first birthday including a checklist, handy hints and tips, 1st Birthday gift recommendations along with free downloadable party planning essentials such as invitations, gift tags, banners,  and thank you notes.  There are also colouring sheets to keep the littlies busy.

We were delighted to also receive a special Little People  1st Birthday commemorative playset, compatible with the rest of the Little People range, complete with a musical birthday table and cake, balloons and figures to encourage imaginative play and The Boy has loved playing with this just as much as Little Miss.  This will soon be available to purchase from Asda.

Her new favourite toy though is the Fisher Price Love to Play Puppy.  It is part of the Fisher Price Laugh and Learn range and she literally lights up when she sees it.  The Boy can’t even get near it.  It has big colourful buttons that are easy for her to use and she has great fun bouncing and clapping along to the music.  Being a huge fan of play based learning I LOVE this toy.  It encourages colour recognition, it plays the ABC song and also helps with learning numbers, as well as being cuddly.  It would make a lovely birthday gift for any small child.

Disclosure: We were sent the products featured in this post free of charge for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are my own.

I know, this year has flown past. I really love this puppy as so easy for her to handle.

Welcome!

Jbmumofone is written by me, jbmumofone, and this blog is my baby. Although clearly I didn’t think this name through because I’m now a mum of two actual babies.

I blog because I love to write, and for sanity’s sake, and have been blogging since August 2011. So why not dig on in and explore?
