Prize Draw: Win A Complete Home Cleaning Kit From Breathease
I was lucky enough to recently be sent some samples of the wonderful product range from Breathease. As my regular readers will have gathered I can often display some obsessive-compulsive type behaviour when it comes to cleaning. Let me loose in the cleaning products aisle of the supermarket and it is like all my Christmas' come at once. I even asked for a steam mop for Valentine's day. Sad, I know, but true. Anyhow, I was delighted to try out this particular line of products as they are perfect for my household in more ways than one. Mr B suffers with quite bad allergies and his skin ...
5:2 Diet: Delicious Chicken Pilau
This chicken pilau is really tasty and really filling and at just 455 calories per serving it is perfect for the 5:2 diet. I am finding more and more with this diet that it is easier for me to go almost the whole day without eating much at all, perhaps the occasional breadstick or two, and then having a decent evening meal than trying to split my 500 calorie allowance between lunch and dinner. If you are the same then this is definitely one to try. This recipes makes two servings. You will need: 6 sprays of 1 cal cooking spray 2 skinless chicken breasts, approx 150g each, ...

So, we decided to make some Christmas Cards and discovered cotton wool was perfect for splodging out some Christmas trees! Simply splodge out your tree shape with some green paint on a white card. Next add some adhesive gems ...

Attack of the Toddleager
The toddler is recently displaying some worryingly teenage behaviour. As he is learning to express himself and test his boundaries, and our willpower, more and more we are noticing frequent acts of defiance. Playgroup is a nightmare. Hoards of similar toddleagers expected to play with a limited number of toys and, heaven forbid, SHARE them. It would appear a fierce territorial steak is rife in the average toddleager . Cries and wails of "Mine Mummy mine!" can be heard reverberating from every wall. Here are things the boy has recently declared to be HIS: My makeup My hair ...

Toddler Craft: Paper Bag Puppets
This toddler craft of paper bag puppets is something any toddler will enjoy and is so simple to do. This week was the first time I had been on my own with both the toddler and the baby and this was a great activity that allowed me to have a bit of indoor fun with W while the baby slept. I actually bought the supplies as a boxed set from my local Aldi but they could easily be assembled from odd bits and pieces left over from other craft projects. To make these paper bag puppets you will need: Paper Bags Craft Glue Glue spreaders A selection of materials to decorate which ...
