X is for…apologies in advance.
Ok, so we all knew this day was coming. The day I had to write a post about something beginning with X. In my despair I took to my facebook page and, as is often the case with these matters, twitter for help. Urban Vox was first to my aid with xylophones. Then X-factor...I don't really watch X-factor though and Babberblog pleaded for me not to do this. He suggested Xanax or the roman numeral for ten. Yep am still struggling here. Posh Totty came up with X-ray. Hmmm... Hmmmm again...Posh Totty was a little kinder Greenfroggyfae then ...
W is for…well it had to be really!

V is for Valuable
Several years ago Mr B and I spent two years living in Cardiff, and later Bristol, but working weekends in Dublin. This basically involved flying over to Ireland every Friday afternoon and returning home in the early hours of Tuesday morning. We loved it. We loved the job, the people, our little Dublin flat, and also the fact that we had the rest of the week off together. However, sadly, one November we returned home on a Tuesday to our house in Bristol to discover we had been burgled. The really sad thing was that it also just happened to be Mr B’s birthday. In our absence some ...

As some of you will know the 2012 Cybher conference is fast approaching, and I will be attending, YAY. Although very excited at the prospect of meeting all you lovely bloggers I am also quite scared. Not just about meeting you all. But about getting there. I have a ridiculous fear of the London underground. Mainly because EVERYONE knows ALL the thieves, robbers and pickpockets live there. Don't they? I have always had this crazy fear of the underground as am totally convinced some, if not all, of the following will occur. 1. I will be thieved-from/robbed/pick-pocketed. 2. ...

T is for TEA
I need you in the morning, To stir me from my bed. I need you in the evening, Before I rest my head. I need you when I get to work, Or simply cannot start. I need you when I've had a shock, To calm my racing heart. I fear if there's a shortage, I simply will not cope. My friend, My rock, My daily fuel. My little mug of hope. I really need to stop writing odes to beverages. This is becoming a habit. ...

Are we nearly there yet?
With the summer holidays approaching many of us may have already begun to count down the weeks, or even days, until we can pack our bags, lock the doors and head off for a week or two of fun in the sun. Let's face it, flying is boring enough as an adult but for little ones it is no wonder that they may get frustrated with limited chance to move about, and very little to do for often hours on end. So, here are a few tips to try and and keep your journey as trouble and tantrum ...
