Wow. This has to be one of my favourite tasks so far. How did I manage to get the age of, *Ahem*, this age WITHOUT READING ONE OF THESE? For this particular task I chose the spectacularly titled 'Cinderella's Wedding Wish' by Jessica Hart. Can you guess the plot line yet? In brief, Plain-Jane, who never gets noticed alongside her two glam sisters, goes to work. Handsome mega-billionaire boss begins to notice her. Could love blossom? Too bloody right it could. Lovely. It is not just the language in this book that is fabulous in it's frivolity but the NAMES! The NAMES are ...
Listography: Celebrities you would like to have a beer with
Really tough one from Kate this week. Who are the top 5 celebrities you would like to have a beer with. It has taken me 48 hours, strange dreams and everything, to come up with this little lot... 1. Top of my list would always be the lovely, the talented, the beautiful............BRUCE! 2. Because I can't imagine there is any topic he couldn't teach me something new about, another hero, Stephen Fry. 3. Because he is a bit of a miserable sod, but mostly makes me laugh, much like Mr B, Charlie Brooker. 4. Because 'We need to talk about Kevin' was the most moving, frightening, well ...

It's not all bad news though. Since monitoring my diet and doing regular exercise I have managed to lose 6lbs in the last six weeks and 7cm around my waist. I also feel much better even if my appearance is not yet what I am hoping for. I think the sheer fact that I know I am doing something to tackle this is also bringing with it a certain degree of acceptance of who I am now. Things have changed. I'm a mum ...
