This is my first time joining in with this particular meme but you know what, I am actually feeling pretty cheerful so thought I would share some happiness rather than my usual angst/gloom/can’t-believe-I-just-did-that-I-am-such-a-rubbish-mum-ness.
So here are my reasons to be cheerful this week.
1. Crafty Crafty
I have just bought my first ever sewing machine and I am loving it. Now I am not generally the domesticated type but now W is getting bigger I am finding that I want to do more and more craft activities with him, especially when the weather isn’t great. Sewing is honestly brand new to me but I am loving it. So far I have cobbled together a fuzzy-felt-pumpkin for him to play with and two dino-hoodies. Am feeling rather proud of myself! *Whispers* just don’t look too closely at the stitching!
2. The Shred
Ok, so I fell off the wagon with the 30 day shred for over a week. After missing a couple of days when I was away from home I just lost all motivation. However, this week I have pulled myself together and got back into action. It has only been a few days but already I can feel my energy levels improving. In the words of the lovely Melksham Mum it is time to ‘Shred Fat Girl Shred!’
3. The Boy
While W has not exactly been angelic this week he has certainly been happy. He is chattering away and giggles constantly. It is great to see him so happy and so full of beans. Now I just have to persuade Mr B to let me dress him up for Halloween!

loving your hoodies I saw one of them on a silent sunday the other week and thought how lovely it was, I am useless at sewing but the thought of making y own thing appeals! 🙂
These are really simple or I wouldn’t have had a hope! Will try and post how to make them over the weekend. Takes less than an hour to make 🙂
