Easter Craft: Funny Bunnies

March 5, 2013 By jbmumofone 23 Comments

This is a super easy craft to do with your toddler and great fun for easter!

You will need:

  • An empty toilet roll
  • Coloured tissue paper
  • Old bit of card-a cereal box or similar would do
  • Pink and white card
  • A few balls of cotton wall
  • Modge Podge or watered down PVA glue
  • Paint brush
  • Pipe cleaners
  • Googley eyes
  • Double-sided sticky tape

Assemble materials

Cut your tissue paper into small strips.

shred tissue paper

Let your toddler paint the toilet roll with modge podge and stick on strips.

stick to toilet roll

Continue adding until evenly covered and allow to dry.

layer

Cut out two ear shapes from an old bit of card.  Cut similar but slightly smaller shapes from oink card and stick to the middle of your ear shapes.  Pain around the edges with Modge Podge and stick on small bits of cotton wool to make two fluffy ears.

make ears

Cut out a small pink circle from card for a nose. Attach pipe-cleaners to the back for whiskers using double-sided sticky tape and with more tape stick to your toilet roll.

Add nose and whiskers

Finally stick on two googley eyes and teeth cut out from white coloured card.

Easter Bunny

And there you have it, one Easter Bunny!

Many of the items you will need for this and more crafty toddler fun can be found online in my Amazon Store. You will not be charged extra for any items but your purchase will help me out a little.

Thank you for pinning and stopping by! He does get bored quite quickly but I think he really likes the fact that we are sitting down doing something together x

Welcome!

Jbmumofone is written by me, jbmumofone, and this blog is my baby. Although clearly I didn’t think this name through because I’m now a mum of two actual babies.

I blog because I love to write, and for sanity’s sake, and have been blogging since August 2011. So why not dig on in and explore?
