Ok, so this month Kate is challenging us to set five resolutions....ok, easy....and stick to them.....hmmm. So, here we go. 1. Complete the blogging from A-Z challenge. 2. Prevent further bottom expansion and lose half a stone. 3. Run 10K, like the lovely Kate herself. 4. Re-design this here blog. Things may go horribly wrong for a few days. Apologies in advance. 5. Design some business cards....EEEEEKKKKK....that sounds so daft to me...for Cybher. So how about you? What would you like to do this month? Let me know below. Merry April folks x ...
Listography: Five of the best…
The lovely Kate has kind of left this week's Listography down to us. She is simply asking for five of our best, well, anythings really. So this week I have decided to spread some blog love. This week, I bring you my five best blog reads. These are the ones that made me laugh so hard I may have choked, splurted coffee all over the lap-top or even had a little wee. These are my literal laugh-out-loud funnies. So, I suggest you finish whatever you are drinking, pop to the loo and then, ENJOY! In the Fright Garden, written by the awesome Mother-Venting. Making Shortbread in the Real ...
Listography: Cartoon characters from your youth.
I am joining in again with Kate this week for another Listography. We are going back to our youth again this week recalling our top five cartoon characters. 1. Number one for me would have to be Danger Mouse. He's the greatest secret agent in the world don't you know! Along with his lovingly daft hampster sidekick Penfold, he is given his missions from his commander in chief, Colonel K, a walrus, and will invariably save the world. Listography: Top 5 Famous Folk I Used to Fancy
This week Kate is taking us on a romantic walk down memory lane, recalling our first celebrity crushes. Oh, the shame. Well here goes nothing, feel free to snigger at will... In at number one would have to be Corey Haim. I was, and still am, a HUGE Lost Boys fan. Though am also fickle as a flea and my crush soon moved on to older brother Jason Patric. But Corey was first. I actually wanted to marry him. Image via thekidinthehall.blogspot.com In at number two, the beautiful River Phoenix. I LOVED him, a lot. His death in 1993 was just too sad. He was only 23. Listography: Celebrities you would like to have a beer with
Really tough one from Kate this week. Who are the top 5 celebrities you would like to have a beer with. It has taken me 48 hours, strange dreams and everything, to come up with this little lot... 1. Top of my list would always be the lovely, the talented, the beautiful............BRUCE! 2. Because I can't imagine there is any topic he couldn't teach me something new about, another hero, Stephen Fry. 3. Because he is a bit of a miserable sod, but mostly makes me laugh, much like Mr B, Charlie Brooker. 4. Because 'We need to talk about Kevin' was the most moving, frightening, well ...
Listography: Games I Used to Play
Kate is taking us on a trip down memory lane with this week's Listography, recalling games we used to play as children. This one really got me thinking. At first I struggled to think of any but then those playground days soon came rushing back to mind. Too many to choose from but, as ever we must, so here are my top 5... 1. Elastics! God I used to LOVE this one. We had a super long loop of elastic, probably a couple of metres long. Two kids would stand inside the loop, a fair distance apart facing each other, with it looped around their ankles to hold it taut. The 'jumper' would then ...
