Oops! Well after feeling all sad last week that the Davina for Next bloggers challenge was over, apparantly there was no need. As it wasn’t! I was a week early and it actually ends now.
So, this IS my FINAL official Davina for Next post, promise, although as I am using the stuff on a regular basis it may well pop up here and there in the future.
Actually, I am rather pleased that I get to write one more as I finally got my grubby little paws on the MAGIC PUMPS! They arrived last week and I have been putting them through their paces, pardon the pun.
I have so far worn them walking to work three times with the intention of popping my heels on when I got there. I have been so pleased with the look of them though I have actually left them on most days and several patients have commented on them and asked where they are from. Towards the end of the day you can start to feel the extra work in your calf muscles so I reckon I MUST be on my way to more shapely pins. Result.
So, a quick summary of my favourite elements of the other pieces:
Racer-back vest: Excellent support in the boob area. Those boys are definitely staying put. Also love the colour.
Capri-pants: Concealed zip pocket in the waistband ideal for carrying your house-key. Reflective strips on the legs make you easily visible to traffic at night. Adequate ass-wobbling reduction as nice and tight!
Trainers: Really light. Really comfortable. Also really quite pretty.
As for me, well I am definitely quite a bit fitter, hopefully a little leaner and certainly more motivated to get back in shape than I was last year. This challenge really gave me the boost I needed to get my fitness, and my figure, back on track.
So final thanks once again to Next for giving me the opportunity to take part, Davina for the great designs, Laura J Janssen for being lovely, the other lovely Davina for Next bloggers and you lovely readers for all of your encouragement, and Pam and Monty for dragging my ass off the sofa on a regular basis.
Jeez, that all went a bit Kate Winslet.
I really do mean it this time.
You want more?
Well you may just have to make do with these for now…
